…Red Flag Warning in effect from noon MDT/11am PDT/Saturday to Midnight MDT/11pm PDT/ Sunday night for lightning for fire weather zones 636 and 637.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag warning for lightning, which is in effect from noon MDT/11am PDT/ Sunday to midnight MDT/11pm/Sunday night. The fire weather watch is no longer in effect.

Timing…from noon MDT/11am PDT/Sunday to midnight MDT/11pm/Sunday night.

Thunderstorms…scattered thunderstorms and abundant lightning Sunday afternoon and evening. Best change is in all of Burns and Southern and western Vale BLM. Storms will not be as dry as in recent days, with cores most likely having wetting rains. However, lightning outside of cores will pose significant fire concerns.
Outflow Winds…up to 60mph
