Reckless Driving and DUII leads to arrest in Harney County

Harney County-According to Oregon State Police records, on Friday, December 22, 2023, Oregon State Police stopped a white GMC Terrain after noticing it driving on the shoulder of the highway and following another vehicle too closely near mile post 153 on Highway 20.
The driver Kim Russell Watson 47, of Meridian Idaho, displayed indicators of impairment when contacted and Watson consented to field sobriety tests. Further evidence of impairment was noticed during the performance of the tests.
Watson was taken into custody and booked at the Harney County Jail, where they registered a BAC of .18%. Watson was issued criminal citations for DUII and Reckless Driving. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
