UMATILLA COUNTY – Overnight drivers on the I-82/I-84 intersection will need to plan for detours over the next couple of nights. The Oregon Department of Transportation has announced ramp closures for guardrail installation at the intersection.
Monday starting at 10 p.m. to Tuesday at 5 a.m. westbound I-84 exit 179 to the westbound lanes of I-82 will be affected.
From Tuesday at 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday eastbound I-82 exit 10 to eastbound I-84 will be affected.
Traffic for both closures will be detoured one mile west of the intersection to exit 177 on I-84. Drivers are advised to follow the detour signs
