Pursuit ends with crash near Nyssa

NYSSA — (Information from Nyssa Police Department) A high-speed pursuit entered Nyssa on the afternoon of August 14, before continuing onto county roads. According to information from Nyssa, “The suspect vehicle crashed into an irrigation ditch, rolled onto its roof, and submerged the occupants.

All three were rescued by responding officers and emergency crews. Two were treated at the scene and released, while the driver was airlifted for further medical care.

Thank you to Parma PD, Nyssa PD, Malheur County Sheriff’s Office, Treasure Valley Ambulance, Oregon State Police, Nyssa Fire, and Life Flight for the quick response and outstanding teamwork.
