ONTARIO — Officials with the Ontario Recreation District are asking the public to stay away from the construction zone for the new aquatic center. Renovation work has begun on the Ontario Aquatic Center and while the construction zone remains closed, the sidewalk around the area remains open. Officials state those who enter the construction zone are trespassing and run the risk of personal injury or damage to their vehicles.
Several portions of Ontario Recreation District are closed to traffic, including the ORD Skate Park, Tennis Courts, and Lions Park Parking Lot.
The closure will remain in place until most of the work is completed. Ontario Recreation District Offices will remain open and accessible during the renovation.
