Summary
Notice The Town of Canyon City will be electing a Mayor and two Councilors, each for a term of four (4) years in the General Election on November 5, 2024. To qualify for the election, you must have resided in Canyon City for a full twelve months immediately preceding the election and be a registered voter. A candidate may file a petition with signatures of not fewer than twenty (20) registered voters or have their name placed on the ballot by paying a filing fee of $10. The mayor must serve as a Town of Canyon City Councilor prior to being qualified to run for or be appointed mayor. Petitions and filing forms are available at the Canyon City Hall at 123 S. Washington Street, Canyon City. Filing deadline is 3:00 PM on August 27, 2024.
