ATTEND THE 2026 BAKER CITY CYCLING CLASSIC JUNE 26 TH -28th! The Baker City Cycling Classic presents the Baker City Downtown Criterium Saturday June 27th .Baker City Downtown Criterium along with Adult racing 1:30-7pm features Free Kids Race and Horner Cycling Foundation Junior Criterium. Below is the route/detour list for this yearโ€™s event: Motorists are reminded that there may be delays on the roadways during The Baker City Cycling Classic. For this yearโ€™s route and detour list, log on to our public notice portal. Motorists can expect delays on Friday morning on HWY 30 in Baker City and into Haines, also HWY 237 into Union and HWY 203 around Catherin Creek and Medical Springs and finishing on HWY 203 .5 of a before HWY 203 crosses I84 and turns to Chandler Lane. Racing begins at 10:30 AM and will conclude around 4:30 PM Saturday, two races will take place, the first begins at 8:30 AM Starts from Oregon Trial Eclectic Cooperative on Pocahontas continues onto Wingville finishing before railroad tracks. The second event of the day will be held in Baker City Downtown Criteriums and Kids Races held in Historic Baker City from 11:30AM till 7 PM. There will be parking restriction on Main Street, Valley, 1st, 2nd, 10th/Broadway, Court, and Washington Ave. starting Saturday Morning, through Saturday at 8 PM. Traveling on Hwy 203 and HWY 237 around Catherine Creek through Union and North Powder and finish at Anthony Lake Mountain Resort for finish and Chili Feed Awards Celebration
