Summary

Notice is hereby given that Grant County Fairgrounds will receive sealed Bids for the Grant County Fairgrounds Pavilion Re-Roof Project in accordance with the Invitation to Bid, Bid Form, General Conditions, Specifications and Drawings. Sealed Bids will be received by mail addressed to Strux Engineering, PO Box 324, Prairie City, OR 97869, emailed to levi@struxengineering.com, or in person to the FAIRGROUNDS Representative, until 5:00 PM local time on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. Bids shall be clearly marked “Grant County Fairgrounds Pavilion Roof Project.” This project involves replacing the existing roof on the Fairgrounds Pavilion. The work items include but are not limited to removing the existing roof, disposal of debris, installing new roofing, and cleanup in accordance with the construction plans and specifications. A safe work environment must be maintained while providing public access to local facilities. Contact the FAIRGROUNDS representative to schedule a site visit. The Project Manual may be obtained by contacting the FAIRGROUNDS Representative, Levi Voigt of Strux Engineering at 541.820.4687 or email at levi@struxengineering.com. Progress for this work can begin on or after August 12th, 2024 after signing the contract and permits have been obtained and must be completed no later than October 10th, 2024. Substantial Completion of the project shall occur no later than October 1st, 2024. Bidders shall be licensed with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) prior to Bidding on this Contract and each Bid must contain the Bidder’s CCB Registration Number. Failure to comply with this requirement shall result in bid rejection. The FAIRGROUNDS may reject any Bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and reserves the right to reject for good cause any or all bids in whole or in part upon the finding of The FAIRGROUNDS that it is in the best interest to do so, to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights, and to postpone the award of the work as necessary for a period of time not to extend beyond thirty (30) days from the Bid Opening date. Bid prices quoted shall remain firm for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of Bid Opening.
