Summary
PUBLIC NOTICE GRANITE HILL ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PHASE II PROJECT PROJECT OVERVIEW: Construction crews are scheduled to mobilize to the project site during the first week of June 2026 and are expected to complete all work by August 28, 2026. CONSTRUCTION LOCATION: The “work” will be completed on Granite Hill Road between the town of Granite, Oregon and Sumpter, Oregon. The “work” will cover the section from Granite, Oregon for 5 Miles south toward Sumpter, Oregon. The “Work” will include Roadway Paving, and Culvert Construction. TRAFFIC IMPACTS: Intermittent Single-Lane Traffic Control: Between June 8 and August 28, 2026, Granite Hill Road will operate under intermittent single-lane traffic control. Motorists should expect wait times of up to 20 minutes during these periods. Full Road Closure: Granite Hill Road between Sumpter and Granite will be fully closed to through traffic from July 6 through July 17, 2026. No vehicles will be able to pass through during this closure period. Please plan alternate routes accordingly.
