Forestland Classification Committee Meeting

WHAT: Forestland Classification Committee meeting WHO: Open to the Public TIME: April 13, 2026 at 2pm PLACE: Oregon Department of Forestry, 415 Patterson Bridge Rd John Day Purpose of the meeting is to consider changes in land classifications pertaining to forest fire protection as provided by Oregon Revised Statutes Chapters 477 and 526. Responsibilities include assessing all lands within a county within an ODF protection district and assigning land classifications as directed in Chapter 629 of Oregonโs Administrative Rules.
