Summary

City of Prairie City Bridge Street Improvement Project Request for Bids Sealed bids for the โ€œBridge Street Improvement Projectโ€ will be received by the City of Prairie City until 2:00 P.M. local time on August 11th, 2026. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the above time and date at the City Hall, in Prairie City, Oregon. Proposals shall be clearly marked โ€œBid for Bridge Street Improvement Projectโ€ along with time and date of bid opening and shall be delivered before the above hour and date to Prairie City, City Hall, 133 S Bridge St., Prairie City, Oregon or mailed and received before the above hour and date to P.O. Box 370, Prairie City, Oregon 97869 to the attention of Mike Patterson. A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held August 4th, 2026, at 11am local time at the site. Work is to commence within 10 days of the date of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed by November 15th, 2026. The work consists of the following construction: Schedule A Includes all the demo and construction necessary for new curb & gutter, sidewalk, driveways, curb ramps, and asphalt repairs on S. Bridge Street from HWY 26 to 6th Street. Schedule B Includes construction of new sidewalk, ramps, stairs, and ADA accessible parking at the City Hall entrance. Plans and specifications may be examined and picked at: Sisul Engineering, 158 E. Main Street, John Day, Oregon 97845 Ph: (541) 575-3777. Any Addenda will be emailed with a conformation cover sheet to all potential bidders having contract documents. All proposals shall be made on Proposal Forms, accompanied by completed Bidderโ€™s Certification Statements, Bidders Bond Statement, and First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form (within two hours of bid closing). A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and payment bond will be required to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract. The Contract is for public work subject to ORS 279.348 to 279.380. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so, may reject any bid not in compliance with all bidding procedures and requirements, to postpone the award for 30 days, to delete certain items from the proposal, and to award the contract to the lowest possible bidder.
