Attention Irrigators We would like to remind irrigators that it is prohibited to allow water to discharge on a public roadway. Allowing water to discharge onto the roadway not only is a hazard to the traveling public, but also causes thousands of dollars in damage. The water causes erosion to the roadways’ shoulders and damage to paved roads; also, saturation of the road base creating potholes, soft spots, and in some cases, total road failure.
