We would like to remind irrigators that it is prohibited to allow water to discharge onto a public roadway.  Allowing water to discharge onto the roadway is a hazard to the traveling public and causes thousands of dollars in damage.

The water causes erosion to the roadway shoulders and damage to paved roads.

Saturation of the road base creates potholes, soft spots and, in some cases, total road failure.
