PENDLETON – There are four public hearings on the agenda for the Pendleton Planning Commission’s meeting at 7 p.m. today (Thursday). The meeting is being held in the city council chambers of city hall.
One hearing is a request to vacate a portion of Southeast 13th and Southeast 14th streets between Southeast Isaac Avenue and Southeast Jay Avenue (which has not yet been constructed). The entire 60-foot-wide rights of way at those locations would be vacated.
Another hearing is a similar request to vacate a portion of Southeast 17th Street between Southeast Goodwin and Southeast Isaac avenues. (Southeast Isaac is also not constructed.) This would vacate the rights of way at this location.
A third hearing is a land division request to partition a 23.90-acre parcel into three parcels to create one parcel of about a half-acre, one parcel just under 3.5 acres, and the third parcel would hold the remaining acreage. The property is identifiable on Assessor Map 2N32 0200 Tax Lot 00202 for Umatilla County.
The fourth hearing is a request for a replat to remove 12,900 square feet from one parcel and move it into a 29,325 square foot lot to create a 42,225 square foot lot. The goal is to provide buildable land space on a lot with steep topography. The parent parcel will remain undivided and reserved as a future construction site. The property can be located on Assessor Map 2N32 04DA Tax Lots 02500 and 03200 in Umatilla County.
The meeting is also available via Zoom. The meeting ID is 880 2513 1650 and the pass code is 719533926.
