PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council has scheduled a public hearing on changes to the city’s fee structure at its regular meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.
Public Works Director Bob Patterson said that most of the suggested changes are small, and some would actually lower fees. Pendleton Parks and Recreation is proposing a number of changes.
“They’re looking at revising park shelter fees, ice rink fees, and gymnasium fees at the rec center,” Patterson said.
The Pendleton Convention Center is also proposing changes.
“They’re looking at streamlining some of their fees and incorporating and revising meeting room fees for the Vert,” he said.
Other proposed fee changes include a legal document fee, a slight lowering of the street maintenance fee, and a complete revision of the building department’s fees to align with state requirements. Council will not be meeting in chambers. The meeting is available on Zoom. The ID is 893 2593 8009 and the pass code is 874133.
