PENDLETON – The Pendleton School Board has approved calendars for the next three school years, and the 2021-22 year beings with optimism. Superintendent Chris Fritsch said they are hoping for something like normal when classes start.
“I’m very hopeful and optimistic that in the fall, school will look more like it did prior to March 12, 2020,” he said.
Fritsch’s optimism extends to the second full week of Round-Up.
“We’ve built in the time for the Round-Up,” he said. “It’s vital to the community and our area that the Round-Up proceed as planned.”
Fritsch urges people to continue to take precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. He said that is the best route for ensuring schools return to as close to normal as possible.
