PENDLETON – The Pendleton School District Board of Directors has a work session scheduled for 8 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday). Superintendent Kevin Headings will give the board the action plans for each school in the district. The plans set goals and detail plans to accomplish them.
There will also be a report on the cell phone policy for the middle and high schools. That will be delivered by Sunridge Middle School Principal Piper Kelm and Pendleton High School Principal Pat Dutcher.
Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Matt Yoshioka will give the first readings for policies concerning truancy. They address compulsory attendance notifications as well as citations that could be issued if not met. The policies can be found at the school district website as attachments to the agenda for the meeting.
