The Oregon School Activities Association has changed its sports calendar for track and field, baseball and softball tournaments. Those tournaments conflict with Pendleton High School’s traditional graduation day on May 31. Staff is proposing that graduation be held Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for the same evenings in March. The school board is considering a proposal that would stagger them. It’s recommended that evening conferences for grades 6-12 be held on March 3 and 5 of next year, while grades K-5 will hold evening meetings on March 4 and 6. The goal is to make it easier for parents with students in multiple buildings to attend conferences for all their children. ‘The meeting will be held at school district headquarters on Northwest 10th Street. Those who wish to attend virtually need to call the district office for log-in information.
