Projects are underway at the Grant County Fairgrounds

JOHN DAY – Grant County Fairgrounds Manager Mindy Winegar was on KJDY’s Coffee Time with an update on several projects happening on the grounds. She mentioned the new outdoor stage and picnic area is coming along nicely:
“It’s 32-by-60 [feet], and it will have a stage in it that is 16-by-24 [feet].
[There will be] a lot more area for our music acts than they’ve had before. It will all be cement, so we are waiting on the cement now.”
Winegar said she is hoping the cement work will be done either this week or next week.
