Project work underway at the John Day 7th Street Complex

JOHN DAY – According to information released from John Day/Canyon City Parks and Recreation, paving is underway on the parking lot of the 7th Street Complex near the playground and splash pad. Folks are asked to avoid that immediate area while work is being done.
Also, next month, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will undergo dredging of the pond at 7th Street. So the public is aware, there will be bio bags placed in the parking lot that will take up some spaces. Work on the pond is scheduled to begin October 3rd.
