Priority Date increases on the John Day River

GRANT COUNTY – Due to increased flows in the river, District 4 Watermaster Eric Julsrud is adjusting the priority date on the main stem John Day River from its headwaters to Kimberly. Effective immediately, the priority date on the John Day River is 1983.

Also, Julsrud would like to remind water users that irrigation season in the John Day Basin ends Sept. 30^th. Call the Watermaster’s Office if you have questions, at (541) 575-0119.
