PENDLETON – Pendleton police responded to a shots-fired call received by Umatilla County Emergency Dispatch at 8:14 p.m. Tuesday night. Lt. Tony Nelson has issued the following statement.
“Upon officers responding to the area of Northwest Sixth Street and Northwest Furnish Avenue, it was determined this was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the community,” he wrote.
Nelson said the involved individual was taken to a trauma center by Life Flight.
“This is still an ongoing investigation,” he wrote. “No further information will be released.”
