PENDLETON – Pendleton police have a suspect in the armed robbery of Circle K on July 15. Chief Stuart Roberts says he can’t release much information due to the ongoing investigation, but he did say the man is from another state and is currently in custody.
“He’s in jail currently on a number of charges stemming from a one-man crime spree for the most part that he engaged in through the first part of July,” Roberts said.
Roberts said detectives continue to work evidence from the armed robbery, including clothing found in the suspect’s possession.
“We believe we know who did it and now it’s just a matter of proving it,” Roberts said. “The person is in custody, so we’ll continue to work forward.”
