Power outage reported in Hermiston area

UPDATE: Residents are reporting their power has come back on, and UEC shows no outages in the area.
HERMISTON – A power outage is being reported in the Hermiston area. A map on the Umatilla Electric Company (UEC) website shows this affects approximately 2,000 people in the area.
The outages are in the area of U.S. 395 on the north side, and Southwest 13th Street.
UEC crews have been assigned, but currently it is unknown when the power will be restored.
No other outages in the area are being reported through either UEC or Pacific Power.
