WALLA WALLA – The Washington State Department of Transportation reports travelers need to plan for added travel time due to intermittent delays on US-12 through Walla Walla today (Monday), as Pacific Power contractors install new power lines across the highway.

From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., travelers can expect rolling slowdowns and periodic traffic stops in both directions between Sudbury Road and Kibler Road.

In addition to mainline impacts, traffic will also be stopped at the following on-ramps:

Eastbound Myra Road on-ramp

North Second Avenue eastbound on-ramp

Westbound A Street on-ramp

Flaggers and pilot cars will be in place to direct traffic through the work zones.
