KIMBERLY – (Press Release from the U.S. Postal Service)
The Kimberly, Oregon Post Office has reopened for business today after wildfires prompted evacuations in the area.
Temporary closures caused by the wildfires in eastern Oregon are still in place at the Durkee, Monument, and Spray Post Office locations.
Customers are reminded to bring a proper photo ID in order to make mail and package pickups.
Retail services, such as temporary mail forwarding or stamps, can be found at the Baker City, Long Creek, and Fossil Post Office locations. And many services are also available online at usps.com.
We apologize for this inconvenience to our customers and plan to have the Durkee, Monument, and Spray Post Office locations reopened and fully operational as soon as it is safe to do so.
