Police use Narcan to save a life

WALLA WALLA – Two Walla Walla police officers successfully administered Narcan upon assessment to an unresponsive patient Monday afternoon.

Sergeant Kevin Huxoll and officer Paul Green were first to arrive to the 200 block of Malcolm Street for a report of an approximately 65-year-old unresponsive man.

Both Huxoll and Greet were in the area and responded to assist. After being administered Narcan, the patient quickly regained consciousness due to the officer’s efforts and quick response. The patient was then transported by paramedics from the Walla Walla Fire Department to Providence St. Mary Medical Center for further care and evaluation.
