Police Training taking place around amphitheater

BEND-The Central Oregon Emergency Response Team and Bend Fire personnel will be at Hayden Homes Amphitheater and surrounding areas from approximately 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Thursday, Feb. 19 conducting a training.
SW Shevlin Hixon Road and the walking trails around the amphitheater will be closed to the public, and “POLICE TRAINING” signs will be placed at a variety of locations in the area alerting community members to the law enforcement activity.
There will be approximately 50 law enforcement and fire officials on scene, as well armored vehicles, ambulances and fire vehicles, and drones.
The area will be closed to the public, and community members may hear sirens and simulated gunfire. Please avoid the area and allow law enforcement to conduct this valuable training opportunity.
