Police investigate fatal stabbing in Milton-Freewater

MILTON-FREEWATER, Oregon – A man in his early 20s died after being stabbed early Friday.

Medics from the Milton-Freewater Rural Fire District responded to the 600 block of Ward Street at about 12:24 a.m.

The victim was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, but died while being transported to a Tri-Cities hospital.

Medics said officers from the Milton-Freewater Police Department also responded and are actively investigating.
