UPDATE: Missing/overdue family safely located

UPDATE (12:22 p.m., 03/03/22) – The Reno Police Department reports an overdue/missing family that left Reno Sunday and was due to arrive in Spokane Monday, but did not arrive, has since been located and their welfare is okay. RPD thanked the public for its assistance.

RENO, Nevada – The Reno Police Department asks for the public’s help finding a family that heading to Spokane, Washington that is overdue and may be missing.

The family of two adults and two children left Reno Sunday and were due in Spokane Monday but did not arrive. Attempts to contact the family have been unsuccessful.

They are traveling in a black 2013 Dodge Durango with Idaho license plate S83448. They are also towing an older silver travel trailer and have three dogs.

Missing/overdue are Zachary Taysom, 39, Taylor Chastain, 26, Brantley Taysom, 7 and Finley Taysom, 4.

The Washington State Patrol is also investigating and providing the Reno Police Department with assistance.
