Police arrest WW man after vehicle pursuit

WALLA WALLA – A pursuit Tuesday night through Walla Walla led to the arrest of James Jordan Dunleavy, 23, of Walla Walla. He was arrested on suspicion of attempting to elude a police vehicle, possession of a dangerous weapon, and driving with a suspended license.

The pursuit began at 11:30 p.m. near Morton and St. John streets when Walla Walla police spotted a vehicle that matched the description of a suspect vehicle involved in a robbery earlier that evening that took place in the Albertson’s parking lot on Wilbur Avenue. The pursuit ended in the county on Snider Drive.

WWPD said this is an active and ongoing investigation.
