COLLEGE PLACE – After collecting evidence, contacting several witnesses, and monitoring the condition of a hit and run victim, the College Place Police Department arrested a College Place man Monday night following Friday night’s hit and run at Southeast Larch Avenue and Southeast Sixth Street.
Police arrested Edgar G. Pina Guerrero, 43, without incident. He was booked into the Walla Walla County Jail for alleged duty in case of personal injury or death or damage to attended vehicle or other property. The hit and run accident resulting in an injury amounts to a class C felony.
The victim, Brian Davis, 51, of Walla Walla was driving a motorized scooter and found injured with life threatening injuries at around 9:30 p.m. Friday. He was transported to a Tri-Cities hospital for treatment. College Place Police Chief Troy Tomaras said Monday that Davis’ condition has improved but provided no further details.
