Planning Commissions approves Bed and Breakfast

LA GRANDE – The Union County Planning Commission met this week and approved a Conditional Use Permit for a Bed and Breakfast on 4th Street and N Avenue in La Grande.  The reconstruction the building will consist of 20 apartment units, 10 units on the ground floor and 10 on the second floor.  The application requested approval will be to use some of the apartment units as Bed and Breakfast.  

Also, The Commission approved a Conditional Use Permit to construct 3-Cottage Homes on 2nd Street and H Avenue, near Central Elementary School.  The property includes an existing single-family home which will be made into a rental.  This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
