PENDLETON – The Pendleton Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. today (Thursday). A public hearing is scheduled on the Blakely Addition. It’s proposed that 25 buildable lots be developed on Southwest 18th Street behind St. Anthony Hospital.

The developer is requesting 31.23 acres be divided into a 22.39-acre remnant parcel. The remaining 8.84 acres would then be subdivided into 25 buildable lots. The remnant parcel will remain undeveloped as it is not within Pendleton’s urban growth boundary.

The commission will hear a report on the city’s wetlands inventory and a housing needs analysis. After the meeting adjourns the commissioners will hold a work session to update them on housing design standards and residential code language changes.

The meeting is accessible via Zoom. The meeting ID is 915 9496 8102 and the pass code is pend97801.
