PENDLETON – The Pendleton Planning Commission is hosting a public hearing on a proposed subdivision east of the track at Sunridge Middle School. Derek Barfuss of Blue Ridge Construction is amending an application previously put before the commission featuring new rights of way. The hearing will take place at 7 p.m. at Pendleton City Hall.
Barfuss wants to subdivide an estimated 21.2 acres into 52 residential lots. He is proposing building a road off Southwest Tutuilla Road heading east with a temporary cul de sac at the east property line, and a short cul de sac against the east side of the middle school’s track.
The development will require installation of public utilities, two pedestrian pathways, a storm water system, and looped services. The zoning allows the use of duplexes, triplexes and quadplexes.
The meeting is accessible via Zoom. The meeting ID is 899 6126 1904 and the pass code is pend97801.
