PENDLETON – The Pendleton Planning Commission will hold public hearings on two requests from the Horizon Project in its development of South Hill Commons today (Thursday) at 7 p.m. Horizon has requested both a conditional use permit and a replat in the development of its 70-unit multi-family complex and a residential care home.
The development would be from Southeast 13th to Southeast 14th streets between Southeast Isaac and Southeast Jay avenues. The approximately five acres will also have a community building. When complete, it will contain one 24-unit apartment building, two 16-unit apartment buildings, and one 14-unit apartment building.
Also at the meeting, the commission will hold public hearings on changes to the wetlands inventory and a request to install a manufactured dwelling on a lot with an existing home on Northeast 35th Street. City Planner George Cress will report the schedule for public rights-of-way vacation that will be on the city council agenda for next Tuesday’s meeting.
