Plan for Travel Delays in Hells Canyon July 12–13

JOSEPH – (Information from Idaho Power) To accommodate blasting work, drivers should expect delays in Hells Canyon south of Big Bar at Eckels Creek near Mile marker 13, July 12 and 13. Blasting work will be carried out between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days, with the road being open from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Outside of the open period, drivers should prepare for delays of up to an hour.
