Pioneer Park pedestrian improvement project completed

WALLA WALLA – The Pioneer Park pedestrian improvements project has been completed in Walla Walla.
Division Street has been restriped to add bike lanes and on Whitman Street, new sidewalks have been installed, including ADA compliant ramps at key intersections. Safety upgrades include a rapid flashing beacon, speed feedback signs, and a lower speed limit.
The $2.9 million project also reconstructed Whitman Street and installed new water, sewer and storm infrastructure.
