UPDATE: 911 and phone lines working again in Umatilla County

UPDATE 5:32 P.M.: From Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office – All 911 and phone lines are up and working again throughout Umatilla County.

UMATILLA COUNTY – There are reports of phone service being down in some areas of Umatilla County, and that may prevent calls to 911.

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office says the reported phone service issues are specifically in the Pilot Rock and Long Creek areas. Technicians are working to identify and resolve the issue.

Wireless calls and Text to 911 are still working. If you’re unable to reach dispatch through 911 you can contact them via the non-emergency line: 541-966-3651.
