Petal it Forward hits Harney County October 15, 2025

HARNEY COUNTY-Wheelhouse Floral, Gifts & More is hitting the streets of Burns on October 15, 2025, from 10:00am to noon, to hand out flowers to busy morning commuters to help brighten their day as part of the “Petal it Forward” Program. Each person will receive 2 bouquets of flowers, one to keep and one to share. This will be taking place on the sidewalk in front of the chamber of commerce.
The Petal it Forward program is in response to the release of data from the Society of American Florists showing the positive emotional benefits of flowers. It is reported that 88% of Americans state that giving flowers makes them feel happy, and 80% reported that receiving flowers makes them feel happy. 76% of American agree that having flowers in their home or office improves their moods.
