PENDLETON – Northeast Ellis Place east of the Pacific Power substation and parts of the Lee Street Grade will be closed from about 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on work days beginning Monday and lasting two to three weeks. The city of Pendleton is upgrading the water system in that neighborhood.
The alternate route across Northeast Ellis Place to Northeast First Street will be open and usable during the times that the route to the Lee Street Grade is closed. The residents in the Northeast First Street and Northeast Ellis Avenue/Place area will experience increased traffic during the project.
Water service interruptions are possible. The city plans to notify the affected property owners 24 hours ahead of any interruptions.
