PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council and Coraggio Group have released the results of the 2025 strategic planning survey. Launched in May, the survey asked community members to provide feedback about the priorities they believe are the most important for the future.

Special events were the city’s best attributes according to 48 percent of the respondents. Other benefits submitted by the public were the parks and public spaces, partnerships with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and the city’s small businesses.

According to the survey, the housing and unsheltered is a leading concern. Also of importance to the respondents are improving the infrastructure, boosting economic growth, and public safety.

The Pendleton City Council intends to use the results of the survey to guide its priorities and decisions in the years to come. All responses were sent directly to the Coraggio Group and all responses are confidential
