Pendleton Police Department getting three new vehicles

PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council Tuesday night approved the purchase of three new 2025 Ford SUV police vehicles.

The Pendleton Police Department was unable to purchase new police vehicles to update its fleet in the 2023-24 fiscal year due to supply chain issues.

The overall cost of the three new police vehicles is $149,808.39. The funding for the vehicles will come from the equipment reserve fund.

Residents will notice the new police vehicles will be black, as Ford doesn’t offer them in blue anymore.
