Pendleton man arrested for attempted murder

News release from the Pendleton Police Department:

July 20, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., Pendleton Police Department personnel were dispatched to the Blue Mountain Village Apartments, 2700 SW Goodwin Avenue, for a report of an adult male being stabbed. On arrival, officers located the male victim with an apparent stab wound to the chest. Officers were able to obtain a statement from the male before he was transported to St. Anthony Hospital by Pendleton Fire & Ambulance. Based on the information obtained from the male victim, officers located one subject allegedly involved in an apartment at the complex. Officer arrested and lodged Jacoah D. Scott, a 22-year-old Pendleton resident, on the following charges:

  • Attempted Murder
  • Assault I
  • Conspiracy
  • Criminal Mischief II

This is still an active investigation, so no further information will be released at this time.
