Pedestrian struck by vehicle

WALLA WALLA — An adult female was injured after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Eighth and Alder. The Walla Walla Police Department said the vehicle versus pedestrian accident happened Friday at 5:58 p.m.
The female victim was treated by medics and transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center. The WWPD said the medical condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time and did not release the victim’s name.
The driver of the vehicle stated to officers that they did not see the pedestrian crossing the street at the time of the incident. Following the investigation done by officers on scene, no criminal charges have been submitted.
