Peddling off from Riverside Park

LA GRANDE – The Grande Tour Bicycle Ride will take place June 26th and 27th. Beginning at Riverside Park in La Grande and continuing on through the communities of Island City, Union, North Powder, Baker City, and Cove. The tour will end back at Riverside Park after traveling 134 miles. This Scenic Bikeway covers some of the route traveled by pioneers on the Oregon Trail with views of the Elkhorn Range, the Blue Mountains and the Eagle Caps of the Wallowa Mountains.
Volunteers are need for the pit stops providing snacks and drinks. This is an opportunity for all of those who are sponsoring a pit stop to support our local outdoor events while providing information about the area.
