PRAIRIE CITY / JOHN DAY – Here’s a bit of good news that was recently shared by the Blue Mountain Hospital District. A Prairie City student has raised and donated over $1,000 to the hospital’s mammography fund. The hospital district recently thanked senior Betty Ann Wilson in a social media post:
“A great big thank you to Betty Ann Wilson, a senior at Prairie City High School who recently donated over $1,000 to the Blue Mountain Healthcare Foundation Mammography Fund. Betty held alumni basketball games at Prairie City High School in December along with a raffle for her senior project.
Our Mammography Fund is used in a variety of ways to benefit our patients. We help patients pay for mammograms if needed, pay for follow-ups, provide assistance with out-of-town appointments, pay for equipment upgrades, and more. If you or someone you know could benefit from help from our Mammo Fund, please reach out to Danielle in our Radiology Department at 541-575-4163.”
