Passing in double yellow leads to rollover crash in Harney County

Harney County-On Wednesday, September 6, 2023 around 2:45pm, Oregon State Police responded to a rollover vehicle crash with an ejected driver at mile post 32 on HWY 395.

Investigation revealed that the driver Robert Fuller, 60, of Deer Lodge, Montana, had made an illegal pass on a double yellow line around a corner when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle rolled before coming to an uncontrolled rest on its top and the driver was ejected through a side window.

Probable cause was developed to arrest Fuller for DUII and Reckless Driving and a telephonic search warrant in support of a blood draw was signed by a judge. Fuller was discovered to have a blood alcohol content of .34. He was cited in lieu of custody for DUII and Reckless Driving.
