Pasco Police looking for information on two men living under stolen identities

PASCO – Police are seeking the public’s help to identify two men who investigators say have been allegedly living under the stolen identities of deceased children for more than three decades.

The Pasco Police Department says that the two men began using the names Tim Seidenfeld (born April 27, 1967) and Glenn Scotzin (born Sept. 6, 1969) around 1990. Those identities belong to two young boys who died in separate accidents in Idaho in 1971 and 1973.

The two men may have begun working in the telecommunications industry in the early 1990’s, but there are no employment records.

Their known work history and personal movements suggest ties to Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Texas, and California. The stolen identities first surfaced in Salem and Seattle in 1990.

Pasco Police stated that properly identifying the men has proven difficult because they have allegedly occupied these false personas for roughly 36 years.

Authorities said the two men are not in custody and have not been charged with any crimes. They added the two men are not currently being sought by law enforcement, but they are aware of their whereabouts.
