Partial closure to Magone Lake access road 3620

The Malheur National Forest has temporarily implemented a closure restricting public access starting August 25, 2025, through September 12, 2025, on Forest Service Road (FSR) 3620 starting at the intersection of FSR 1800 and FSR 3620, southwest to the intersection with FSR 3618.
This temporary closure order has been issued to assure public safety during logging operations along forest road 3620. Crews will be operating heavy machinery along the road and steep slopes above, that will pose a risk to public safety.
Closure signs and information will be posted at both ends of the closure. There is an alternate route available, starting at FSR 1800/3600 (Four Corners) to the 3620 and then turning left on FSR 3618 to Magone Lake.
